| Temple Foods was founded in July
2001 and is run by John Allen (pictured), a City and Guilds trained
chef with over 30 years experience in the catering trade.
Over the years his work had taken him to many
hotels, restaurants and all other styles of catering extablishments.
It came to his notice that a lot of restaurants
using frozen foods to back up their menus were searching for interesting
vegetarian alternatives- but the cupboard was bare!
There was a lack of imagination from the big boys.
Hence John came upon the idea of setting up a small and independent
company for the production of something different, something with
flavour!
He felt that there was a gap in the market and
