Our philosophies are simple, "We care about what you eat."

After purchasing an existing butcher's shop in 1977, Anthony Meredith became increasingly disenchanted with the quality of some of the meat supplied. Investigation soon proved that not all meat is the same. Quality varies widely, dependent hugely on where it originates and animals treated badly produce inferior meats.

Anthony therefore decided to source his meats from farms which provided traditionally-reared, traceable "from-birth-to-butcher" animals, where the animals' welfare is the main priority.

Gradually, other butchers became interested in his philosophy and asked him to supply them and as a result, the company now supplies traditionally produced, hand selected, traceable beef, pork, lamb and poultry to over 50 quality butchers and other retail outlets.
