It's coming up to that time of year again.

Make sure your home insurance isn't made void by a chimney fire.

If you haven't had your chimney inspected and tested and don't have the certificate to prove it has been done - and you get a chimney fire, your insurers won't pay up.

So, before you light that fire, be it a wood burner, open fire, gas fire, make sure you call out Heat Engineering to be sure birds haven't nested where you can't see it.

Heat Engineering can fit bird cowls, flue liners, repair brickwork, install back panels, sweep your chimney and generally make sure you're safe when you light that match.
