A great discussion this morning on twitter regarding the understanding of what a potentially new client is asking for when stating they want you to give them a quote for a lick of paint.....

In my opinion the term means a tosh job... Tosh meaning no filling no sanding down, no dusting, just get the paint on the surfaces quickly and cheaply....

Another opinion was that of a quick filling of holes, a quick sand down, caulking and one coat of paint on the walls and woodwork...a bit better but not ideal and will feel a bit roapy, in my opinion that is.

The best opinion for a lick of paint comes from Andy @acmasterpainter Quote from twitter: "1-offs tricky but with scale & smart product choice ,no need to skimp on anything" And to make it work all round, you have got to know the tricks of the trade to trick the eye...
